Dear JoAnn and family, When we write our condolence cart, we just here that Adrian was passed away. We didn't believe it. Now a few days later you realise that he is wryly gone. Than came back the memories of the time that we ware at your place, we ware several times in Canada, and always we were welcome at your house (first the cottage, then the very nice house at the beach). We stay also on the farm and Adrian was there to. He like to show us his farm and equipment, and went whit us to the elevators. We have so many nice memories of him, that makes it so difficult to believe that he is not alive anymore. Lieve JoAnn and familie Van Engelen,
Wij zijn geschrokken van het plotselinge overlijden van Adrian.
Direct na dit droeve bericht zijn wij bij elkaar gekomen om over hem te praten en met elkaar hem te gedenken. Vele herinneringen kwamen boven. Hij was voor ons de oudste neef, het eerste kleinkind van oma en opa Van Haperen. Toen hij nog een baby was, kwamen Anton, Nely en Adrian naar Chaam. De foto' s van toen zijn ons zeer dierbaar. Door de bezoeken van de familie aan Canada en door de vele brieven bleven wij met jullie meeleven.
Wij hopen dat de mooie herinneringen aan Adrian jullie mogen steunen in deze moeilijke tijd.

So sad to see Adrian abruptly leaving us heavenly. We all are shocked and saddened for JoAnne and children. He was a quite-loved- simple, hardworking farmer and a friend of friends. He was a genuine person. When married to JoAnne, we all Maliks of Madan’s family looked at Adrian just as a junior Madan. We all welcomed him and he became honorable members of Maliks families. He joined us in happy and not so happy times. Soon he had beautiful Melissa and Brian- We found him a helping hand and guiding the children- Davis; Marty and Anita in fatherly way. All kids living along happily. Extended family enjoying Adrian’s blessings . I personally found him very kind and strict in his own way for good things. Financially, a sound and witty person. He enjoyed discussing National and International topics on politics and economic while enjoying cold beer. Our heartfelt condolences.
