Obituary of Chris Van Loon

Peacefully at Brookside Retirement Home in Watford on Monday, August 6th, 2012. Chris Van Loon of Watford at the age of 87. Chris is predeceased by his loving wife Sien Van Loon (nee Van Gorp)(1990) and by his grandson Riley Van Loon (2002). Chris is survived by his dear friend and companion Angeline Backx and by his loving children Marian (Brian) Rankin, Pete (Janie) Van Loon, Corie (Mark) Williams, Bernie (Wayne) Hutton, Laura (Phil) Venema, Janet (Mike) Mair, Debbie (Chris) Fedyk and John ``Jan`` (Jill) Van Loon. Chris will be sadly missed by his twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Chris will also be fondly remembered by his extended family both in Holland and Canada. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the WATFORD CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 8th, 2012 at 11am at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church in Watford with Fr. Gerard Bedard celebrant. Interment to follow at the Watford Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
