My condolences to all of you!Eight years ago i met your dad and although he was quite the character work will never be the same without him!The picture you have posted was his favorite by far!I remember when he asked his mom and dad to bring it in so he could prove how goodlooking he was and he laughed! He loved talking about Rodney and buying those darn lottery tickets!Well hope you all take care and i am sorry for your loss!

Ron an I went to high school together. He was so much fun and one of the best athletes in the school. I remember going to Pt. Glasgow and putting on our records and dancing in the old pavilion. We had all the group there too. Its still has the best dance floor!!. We had a lot of fun back then. My condolences to all the family. Judy and Ron will remember me.

Angie, Jenny and families. I was saddened to hear of your Dad's passing this week. I have many fond memories growing up at your house. The birthday parties, sleepovers, cottaging in Rondeau. Thinking of you during this time.

Dear Judy & Ron and family I was sorry to learn of Ron's passing this week. Although I had not seen him recently, I remember seeing him around town when we first moved here to Rodney. My sympathy to his daughters - it is hard to lose a parent, but doubly hard at this time of year. Dorothy & Duncan Gillies

Mac and Kathy Lougheed posted a condolence

We met Ron Hanley when he and Lee first moved to Flora Street back in the 1970's. Ron was such a good friend and neighbour to us...he helped Mac do home repairs and tried unsuccessfully to help me become a golfer. We have many good memories of Ron...he was a talented refinisher and refurbished every home he and Lee owned. The Hanley's and the Lougheed's co-owned a cottage...and, our families even tried to camp there without heat one wintery weekend. We extend our sympathy to Jenny and Angie and Ron and Judy and their families.
