Obituary of Melvin Martin

Martin, Mr. Melvin "Bob" (Chief, Forest Fire Department) Passed away at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, November 7, 2010, at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Valrae, dear son of the late John and Jean Martin. Loving father of Paul Martin (Cindy), Tammy (Steve George), and Jodie (Andrew Palmer) all of Forest. Grandfather of Kaytlyn, Michelle and April Martin, Cody, Chance, Catharine and Clare George, and Miraide and Tayte Palmer. Bob is also survived by his brothers Delbert of Sarnia, and Terry of St. Mary's, Ontario. Predeceased by his brothers Bruce, Donald, Roy, James, and his sisters Marilyn and Ruthann. Friends may call at the FOREST CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James Street South, Forest, Ontario, on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Forest United Church on Friday afternoon, November 12, 2010, at 1:00 pm.
