As a child, one of my most favourite times was bedtime with Grandma. Whether it was for weekends on the farm, Staying at our house, weeks on vacation in Florida or traveling in the van. I loved my time alone with Grandma. I would usually sleep in her bed with her where we would talk about everything from God and why the Church is the center of her community, to Love, to music and creativity. She would pacify any anxieties or worries I was feeling, any hard times I was facing she would manage to smooth the emotional roller coaster with her own special brand of philosophy. Simple and Profound. Always wise, always POSITIVE, never cynical or negative or judgmental. Always from a place of love. And after our talks I would help Grandma with her hair using her Silver Hair brush and help put on her Noxema face cream, she would hold my hands and tell me that when I'm over come, that she loves me and that when I don't know what to do I should pray: "Ich bin Klein, Mein hertz ist rein, Soll niemand darin wohnen, als Jesus allein." then we would go to sleep. I love you Grandma. Thank you for SHOWING me what a truly Good, virtuous, moral and exceptional human being is. Whose only motivation is Love, Family, Faith and community. Every night I will pray this prayer and think of all the fond memories. (English Prayer: I am young (small), my heart is pure. No one shall dwell in my heart, but Jesus alone)

We will miss a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother in law. You were always an example to us and often a light in dark times. We love you and will always remember you. We are blessed to have had you with us for so many years and to have had the chance to share so many great times with you. We have so many memories that we will always cherish.
