It was with great sadness that I learned of Uncle Alan's passing. He was the last of his generation, and a kind, wonderful man. I will miss him greatly, but will always cherish the times that I was able to visit with him. At least now he is at peace and with friends and family once more. Rest in peace, Uncle Alan...you've earned it.
