Obituary of Dorothy Newport

NEWPORT, Dorothy Mae (Grierson) - Peacefully, at Petrolia Hospital on Sunday, May 4th, 2014. A long time resident of Aldborough Township and more recently Petrolia, in her 85th year. Predeceased by husband Lorne, daughter Janet and sisters Catherine, Lillian and Barbara. Mother to Karen (Edmund) Huston, Pam (Bill) Bradshaw and Randy (Lucy Ann). Grandmother to Michael (Sarah) Huston, Jeffrey (Kristine) Huston, Adam (Leanne) Bradshaw, Billy Bradshaw (Jenna Lebert), Sean Bradshaw (Tina Quijano), Nathan Newport (Melissa Lyttle ) and Ashlynn Newport (Jesse Alimena). She will be greatly missed by her 8 great grandchildren, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may visit at Denning Funeral Directors-Rodney Chapel, 212 Furnival Rd. Rodney, (519) 785-0810 on Tuesday, May 6th from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, May 7th from 1-2 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2 pm with Reverend Deb Dolbear-VanBilsen officiating.
