Words cannot express the sadness we feel for you and your family dealing with Jim's untimely death. We knew the day would come, but death always leaves us with grief. Jim's pain is gone and it is our turn to deal with sorrow, but remembering not "how he died" but " how he lived" and not "what did he gain" but what did he give" Jim lived his life to the fullest, and was the most giving, selfless person we knew, always there when you needed him, and that is how he will live in our memories forever. On the last night I spent watching over Jim, He woke suddenly and looked at me sitting across from him reading and said very perturbed, " HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO GO TO BED ? " When I smiled and said ," Well I'm feeling kind of restless tonight so I thought I'd just read for a bit" Me too Jim said, so lets watch some tv, something with cars! To my amazement, We did indeed find a program on antique cars which we watched until he was tired enough to sleep for a bit more. I will always treasure this memory. Kelly Baker (VON)
