Debbie, Dale and Family I remember Debbie when you would bring Vera to Waterloo. She was very funny and always said what was on her mind. She would always comment about Andy and Samantha's red hair and where did they get that from. That Irish twinkle in her eyes will be watching over you forever and ever! Dear Deborah, Dale and all, Who lives to be 95? Someone with a lot of zest for life and Vera sure had that. I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy no matter how young or old. I met Vera on two occasions; one was a shower; for Tara in London and I had the absolute pleasure of sitting with Vera almost the whole time - what a treat. She was a hoot and there is no better descriptive than that. We laughed a lot. It was such an enjoyable afternoon. Even during that short time I knew this woman loved life. I am so sorry I cannot be there to share and celebrate Vera's life but I will be there in spirit, to be sure. I am wishing you all the best and I know Vera will be missed by many. Reading and looking at Aunt Vera's obituary reminded me of just how pretty she really was and how much she loved to have fun. She was so generous with everything, especially wanting to share the beauty and fun of Ipperwash Beach with all. Some of the fondest memories we all have is with Aunt Vera and Uncle Joe at Ipperwash. She is now with my mom (Essie) and ALL her siblings having a good time! Our condolences to JoAnne, Debbie, (step-son) Doug, grandaughters, and great-grandchildren whom she loved and I'm sure brightened her life in many ways. Sometimes life gets in the way and we're not as attentive to our loved ones as we should be, but Aunt Vera you were loved and will be missed. Love & Blessings, Nancy and Family
