Grace had a wonderful long life! From the information I had passed on through the years, she was very agile and loved being at the home she was at. Condolences to her family. May your hearts be warmed as you reflect back and celebrate her life here on earth! Sincerely, Dara Prychun (My father, Brian Jeffery, was her step son. Ron & Lorna's only child)

I was so sorry to hear of Grace's passing. I did not know that she was 100 years old. My father in-law is at Horizon and would often stop and chat with Grace. I know the last few times we chatted she didn't know who I was but she was very friendly anyway. Grace (Mrs. Walkey) as I knew her, was my first Home Economics teacher in 1968 when she taught at Riverside P.S. She had such an effect on my life, I became a Home Economics teacher myself (later know as Family Studies). I started teaching for the London Board and at our Family Studies Socials I had the delight of meeting Grace again. I am glad she knew the effect she had on my life. As a teacher, those thoughts touch our hearts as Grace touched mine so many years ago and continues to affect my life today. I will miss you Grace but I will remember you. Love Lorraine

My deepest sympathy to Grace's family. She was a truly amazing person. I really enjoyed talking with Grace and Helen at Horizon Place. I will miss her always asking "where is Helen?" at meal time when Helen got pushed to the table by a staff and Grace was walking up after on her own. She will be greatly missed at Horizon Place. Toni (Reception at Horizon Place)

Grace and I taught Home Ec. together in London for many years. She was such a delightful person with a beautiful smile. I never heard her speak poorly of anyone; being positive is such a great asset. Right up to the end of her career she always kept up with the latest crafts and other sewing projects for her students. That speaks of her commitment to doing well. She was a lady in the true sense of the word and I am better for having known her. My sympathy to your family at this time. Joyce Day
