Obituary of Betty Mae Metcalfe

Betty Metcalfe passed away peacefully at Middlesex Terrance, Delaware on January 5^th, 2025 at the age of 83.

Now with her loving husband Gerry Metcalfe. Betty was a loving mother to Debra (Derek) Robert, and Richard. Cherished grandmother to Julie, Ashley, April, Adam and Alisha. Great Grandmother to Landon, Leah and Lily. Betty was a loving sister to Louise (Art), Joyce (Larry), John (Nan Marie), Ron (Marilyn),Roy (Linda) and Bill (Linda).

Betty Metcalfe was born in Point Edward Ontario in 1941.  Betty had a passion for bingo, tending to her gardens, and nurturing beautiful flowers that brightened everyone’s day. She adored her cats, who were her cherished companions and a constant source of joy. Her hobbies and love for nature brought happiness not only to her, but all who knew her.

In accordance with Betty’s wishes, she will be cremated. There will be no services at the moment, but a private family burial will take place at a future to date. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts of all who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be acknowledged by the family.
