It is with great sadness, the family of Gerald Lawrence McEvoy announces his passing at home on Monday, January 6, 2025.  Beloved husband of Joan Catherine McEvoy (Bilyea). Pre-deceased by his parents John Lawrence McEvoy and Dorothy Jean McEvoy (Henderson).  Loving father of Richard McEvoy (Wendy) of Lucan, Ontario, Deborah Taylor (Robert) of Thedford, Ontario, Gordon McEvoy of Huron Park, Ontario and Catherine Lori Ovens (Donald) Of Ailsa Craig, Ontario.  Devoted Grandfather of the late Christopher McEvoy, Stacey Pike, Steven McEvoy, Joshua Taylor, Tyler McEvoy, Danielle McEvoy, Nathan Taylor, Scott McEvoy, Cameron McEvoy, Timothy Taylor, Robert Taylor, Natalie Ovens and Dylan Ovens. Great grandpa to 25. Dear brother of Janet Ische of Ailsa Craig, Ontario and Thomas McEvoy (Diane) of Ipperwash, Ontario.

Visitation will be held at Denning's of Forest on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm. A Funeral Service will take place the following day Monday, January 13^th, 2025 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Luncheon to follow at the funeral home. An interment will take place at St. Thomas Cemetery (67 West Ave, St Thomas, ON) at 3:00pm. In memory of Gerald, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
