Obituary of William Kocsis

William (Bill) Kocsis - After a courageous fight with cancer, Bill passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27th at Sakura House. Survived by his daughters, Mary-Anne Kocsis and Susan Kocsis and his granddaughter Daphne and his siblings Gizella Poncsak, John Kocsis and Anna Meszaros. Predeceased by his brother Miklos Kocsis. Uncle Bill will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Margaret Kocsis, Anna Pazsitzky, Elizabeth Rubinstein(David), Nick (Nora) Kocsis, Aggie(Bill) Kalapun, Maggie Kocsis, Johnny Kocsis, Berti Poncsak, Zsolti Poncsak and Aniko Poncsak. He will be greatly missed by cousins Irma Farkas and Anna Horvath (Frank) and also his dear friend Margit Sopronyi. Retired from Ford (Talbotville), he enjoyed living in the community of West Lorne. Friends and family will be received at the WEST LORNE CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Friday, August 31st from 5 - 8 pm. The funeral will take place on Saturday, Sept.1st at 11am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in West Lorne. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the VON Sakura House in Woodstock or the Canadian Cancer Society.
