Obituary of Allan Ronald Minielly

On Wednesday, July 3^rd, 2019, Allan Ronald Minielly, aged 80 of Forest, Ontario, formerly of Warwick Village, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family.  Loving husband of Betty (Doherty) Minielly for 58 years, amazing father to Laurie Minielly, Kim (Derek DuChene), Anita (Mark Sutherland), Linda (Paul Willemse). Beloved Grandpa to the  apples of his eye – his seven grandchildren, Karli Annett, Lauren, Allison and Joel DuChene, Delaney (Daniel McLenon), Duncan and Devon Willemse.  Big brother to Wayne & Carolyn Minielly, Ivan & Florrie Minielly, Clare & Jane Minielly, Royce(late Marilyn) Minielly, Elaine & Ray Morgan.  Brother-in-law to Rhoda (Doherty) Wager.  Predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Ross & Caroline Minielly. Al was a Process Operator for over 25 years and had the blessing of being retired from Imperial Oil Ltd., for 28 years. He enjoyed travelling, camping, woodworking and attending his grandchildren’s activities. He loved the outdoors, lawn bowling, curling and touring in his PT Cruiser.  Al spent many winters in Florida, escaping the Canadian winters, and loved travelling the world with Betty by his side, they were two peas in a pod.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 6^th, 2019 at Ferguson Estates 4195 Aberarder Line, Plympton-Wyoming from 2pm to 5pm, with Words of Remembrance at 4pm with refreshments and snacks to follow. Dress casual.
