Obituary of David Scafe
SCAFE
At Four Counties Health Services on Sunday, October 7th, 2007. David Allan Scafe in his 63rd year and with Joy (Moot) Scafe by his side.
Dearly loved son of Margaret Scafe of Caledonia Gardens, Dutton and the late Clarence and Mary Lou Scafe. Brother of Kathy Phillips, Chatham. Predeceased by brother Clare (2002) and survived by sister-in-law Gerry Scafe, niece Tracey (Nigel) Bradshaw and their children Mitchell and Kaitlyn, nephew Brian (Julie) Scafe all of Rodney. Predeceased by wife Patricia (Kelly) Scafe (1971). Loved by sisters-in-law Barbara (late Ed) East of Brampton, Marilyn Johnston of West Lorne and Marlene (Gary) Brooks of Windsor.
Dave will be fondly remembered by Joy's family Lorna (Guy) Pare, Carol (Larry) Satchell of St. Thomas, Jewel Tuday of Alaska and Wesley Mott (Margaret Anne) of Texas. Uncle Dave to many. Sadly missed by life long friend Roy Perovich (Dr. Susan Allen). Dave was employed at D.H. Howden for twenty five years. We will remember Dave for his love of baseball (Cleveland Indians) and his many years of playing the role of Santa Claus, rendition of Elvis Presley and numerous impromptu skits with his brother-in-law Gary Brooks. Special thank you to friends, including Bill Nicholson, Ric Whyte, West Lorne, Jack Morrison, Wardsville, Christine McCaulley, St. Thomas. Roberta (Miller) Reardon and Nancy (Fordham) DePutter, London.
Appreciation and thank you to Dr. N. Parry and Dr. T. Forbes and staff at LHSC - Victoria Campus for their compassion and expertise. The staff at Four Counties Health Services were amazing and thank you for helping Dave during his time their.
Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel, Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Thursday at 2 pm. Rev. J. White officiating. Interment Rodney cemetery.
