My heartfelt condolences to ALL of the Smith family. I have many memories of Donald throughout my life on Douglas Line. He was a good neighbour and farm friend to our family. I recall gathering around the television watching him demonstrate how to shear sheep on The Roy Jewell Farm show, quite impressive to this young farm girl. One day he joined the neighbourhood baseball game for a moment in between chores. I was amazed when he belted that ball across the road and ran the bases for a home run in his barn boots! He will be missed.I hope all of your own good memories help you through.
