Patricia E.A. (McGregor) Jay

Born May 6, 1941

Surrounded by love, Pat Jay passed away on May 13, 2019, at Bluewater Health.   Pat Jay was the cherished wife of the late H. John D. Jay. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Clare McGregor and Viola Lewis, and also predeceased by her brother Marvin McGregor (Bev) and sister, M. Yvonne McGregor and brother-in-law Bill Jay (Lyn).   Pat will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by her son John D. Jay (Carol Kingshott), and her daughter Elizabeth Fanset (Scott McNeil), and grandchildren Alannah Bent (Kyle) and Christian Fanset. She will be remembered dearly by her brothers, Lewis McGregor (Elda), and Donald Dougal McGregor (Marg), and sister Jean Hishon (Joe). Sister-in-laws Bev McGregor, Pat Cable (Floyd), Dianne Anderson (Al), Mary Rouw (Henry), Lyn Jay Laverne (Wes), and her many nieces and nephews.   Pat Jay was a retired director of finance of the now LCDS, and an active member of the Port Franks Seniors Group. She enjoyed gathering with her friends and family for various activities, especially cards, darts, shuffleboard, golfing, and the company of loving family. 

Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.  Funeral Service to take place at the Funeral Home on Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2019, at 1:00 pm.  Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
